- Log into Writi Application
- Navigate to the TO-DO Management
- Select Physician Review under the Physician Medication Review
- Select the Resident which PMR you'd like to complete
- At the top you will see the Residents Name
- If you click on the resident name there are 3 options: Resident Profile, Care Clause and Notes
- Below you will see the list of medications for the Resident
- On the left you will see the Medication and to the right you will see 3 directions of medication: Continue, D/C & Hold
- Continue means that the medication is correct and the resident will continue to take the medication
- D/C means you would like to Discontinue the medication; when you select D/C you have 2 options D/C, Edit & D/C and Create New. See below table for explanation on the 3 options
- Hold means that you want to just pause the resident on the medication but not D/C
- You can also ADD NOTEs which can be viewed by the nurses
- You can also add a Reminder which can be used to reassess that medication for the specific resident
- At the very bottom of the screen is a progress bar; once the progress bar shows "Order Complete ___ of___ 100%" click SAVE at the top which will then flow into the Nurses Order Processing
- Scroll down to Physician Review under Physician Medication Review
- On the left side are all the pending PMR's; select one of the resident's PMR which you'd like to complete
- On the top you will see the Resident's Name which PMR is being viewed
- To the right of the Residents Name is the PMR History drop down; select a PMR Date Range to pull up the previous PMR
- In the middle is the Patient Demographics and Care Clause
- To the right is the PMR and the list of medications for that specific resident
- In the Medication Area you can see the Medication Name, Last Fill Date, RX Number, Where was generated, Add Note and Reminder
- Beside the Medication you have 3 directions of medication for Continue, D/C and Hold
- Select the directions for all the medications
- You can also ADD NOTEs which can be viewed by the nurses
- You can also add a Reminder which can be used to reassess that medication for the specific resident

D/C
Discontinue completely
Edit
Discontinue the original medication and edit with new directions or strength
D/C and Create New
Discontinue the medication completely and create a new order
